Ten years of trees, ten years of wind, ten years of rain, one hundred thousand beams.

Behind the word "teacher" is not only lucky and glorious,

More hardship and pay.

The 35th Teacher's Day,

Please let us work together to the world teacher,

That year today, we just started school,

This year, two years, even more than ten years of time,

Because of you, become gorgeous,

Today, we also have something to say to you...

Culture of Teacher's Day

The Origin of Teachers' Day

Before the founding of New China, there were two versions of Teachers' Day.The first is the "June 6" version of Teachers' Day, which was spontaneously organized and established by educators in 1931 to call for the improvement of teachers' treatment. The second is the "Lunar August 27" version of Teacher's Day established by the Ministry of Education of the Kuomintang government in 1939.

However, the former was not recognized by the Kuomintang government, and the latter was not implemented nationwide because of the war and other reasons. In 1931, educators Tai Shuangqiu, Cheng Qibao and others contacted people from the educational circles in Beijing and Shanghai to gather at Nanjing Central University and issued a declaration calling for "improving the treatment of teachers, ensuring teachers' work and enhancing teachers' cultivation", and agreed to make June 6 Teacher's Day, also known as the Double Sixth Festival.

Way of Celebration

Since Teacher's Day is not a traditional Chinese festival, there are different celebrations every year, and there is no unified and fixed form.

In terms of the government and schools, there are teachers' Day celebration and commendation meetings to issue bonuses and certificates to teachers; school students and song and dance troupes are organized to present song and dance performances to teachers; there are visits and condolences to teachers' representatives, and new teachers are organized to take collective oaths and other activities. As for students, they spontaneously participated in the original work and wrote their blessings on blackboard newspapers, greeting cards and paintings. Some have posted photos and activity comments on their personal space and microblogs to express their sincere wishes and greetings to teachers.

Derivative culture

China's first set of "Teacher's Day" stamps was issued on August 27, 1947. There are 4 stamps in this set. The design content is the statue of Confucius, the apricot altar where Confucius gave lectures, the tomb of Confucius, and the Dacheng Hall of Confucius.

On September 10, 1986, the former Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued a set of "Teacher's Day" commemorative stamps, a full set of 1, with a denomination of 8 points. Design by Zhang Lei. A photocopy version. Bore 11 degrees, back brush glue. The total number of post offices is 56. Beijing stamp factory printing. Ticket size 40mm by 27mm. The circulation is 59.9069 million. It has the basic physical and chemical properties of pigments used in coatings, but due to its refractive index being similar to the film-forming material, it is transparent in coatings and does not have the coloring and covering power of coloring pigments. It is an indispensable pigment in coatings.

Yuan Lei's Little Knowledge | Application Effects of Different Mineral Powder Materials in Coatings

In architectural coatings, commonly used mineral materials include barium sulfate, calcium carbonate, kaolin, mica powder, talc powder, quartz powder, silica micro powder, transparent powder, glass powder, wollastonite powder, etc. Reasonable application of various mineral materials can effectively improve or enhance the performance of coatings. Let's take a look at the application of different mineral materials in coatings.

Yuan Lei's Little Knowledge | Characteristics of Mineral Materials
